Social Enterprise Center
The Social enterprise center for excellence is mainly dedicated to build the capacity of Egyptian non governmental organizations’ leaders through applying business tools in social sphere.
  • Badrawi Research Award: The enrichment of human capital that is necessary for Egypt’s transformation depends to a large extent upon fostering a research culture. This is an environment that encourages the pursuit of new knowledge, conducts scientific research and develops new technologies. The Nile Badrawi Foundation research strengths is organized around core platforms of medicine, biotechnology, information and communication technologies, environmental sciences, human development, arts and literature.
  • IT illiteracy program: a program that is mainly dedicated to spread the culture of technology among children and youth especially those in under served areas.
  • Environmental Education program: a program that is dedicated to fight all kinds of pollution to reach a “Green Community” through schools and Universities.
  • Health Education program: health is becoming the major challenge in today’s world; therefore, the program is advocating and raising awareness of key health messages.
  • Entrepreneurship and good citizenship program: small business became one of the important factors of a nation economic growth, while Egypt’s society didn’t absorb the culture of entrepreneurship. For this reason, the program works on spreading the culture of entrepreneurship among school and university students through “EFHAM initiative”.
  • Program for Vocational Education: linking vocational education with employment opportunities is a challenge in Egypt. Although vocational education is a vital component in education, it needs lots of efforts to enhance it curricula and build the capacities of vocational education students.
  • Education Development Fund and educational loans: a fund that is directed to developmental studies and educational loans for post graduate studies especially in the field of education and development.
